Have you tried creating your own pillow covers to use in your home yet? Pillow covers are one of my very favorite ways to decorate for different seasons, plus there are so many different designs available too. Today I'm going to share with you how to layer different colors of Color Chimp HTV to get this fun look on this "Home is wherever I'm with you" pillow. 

For this project you'll need:

• Color Chimp Luxe in Rose Gold, Mint & Gray
• Cricut Maker or other Digital Die Cutting Machine
• EasyPress, Heat Press or Iron
• Blank Pillow Cover
• Home is wherever I'm with you Cut File

Upload your SVG file into the software you are using. Edit the design as needed. I adjusted some pieces to be different colors than they were set for. Once it was ready, I sent the design to be cut. When cutting Color Chimp HTV, make sure you always mirror your image! Place your HTV on your mat, shiny side down, and then cut it.  When all the different colors are cut, weed them by taking all of the unneeded HTV off of the carrier sheet.  Place the gray design layer down on the pillow first, followed by the other two layers. Measure to make sure that the design is centered as well as level. Once all layers are in place, carefully remove the top two layers.  Be careful to not move the gray layer when removing the top two layers. Preheat your heat press, iron, or EasyPress.  Apply heat to your design.  Let the carrier sheet cool just slightly, then peel it off of the gray layer. Keep your carrier sheet though! Place the other two layers. Make sure that the carrier sheet from both of them don't over lap. You don't want to apply your HTV to the other carrier sheet.  Use your carrier sheet that you saved from the gray layer to cover the entire design. Apply heat again. Let the design cool briefly, and then you can peel the carrier sheets off of the entire pillow design.   Use your pillow form to stuff your pillow and you're all set!  The combination of the Rose Gold, Mint & Gray Color Chimp HTV are perfect together, right?!  This pillow is perfect for your living room sofa or even the master bedroom!
